Steel Products

Tomsons offers an extensive range of steel products, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel. Our product line includes a wide variety of steel pipes, tubes, sheets, plates, bars, and fittings to cater to diverse industrial needs.

Our billets are forged using the continuous casting process and are utilized to produce rebars, wire rods, and small structural bars. Blooms, another product of the continuous casting process, have a larger square cross-section than billets.

Reinforcing steel bars or rebars are commonly used as a tension device in reinforced concrete and masonry structures. Wire rods are coiled bars used mainly in wire production. Merchant bars are used in structural and construction applications, and can come in angles, flats, rounds, and T-shaped bars.

Steel beams, available in various shapes such as I, U, H, and more, are designed to support heavy loads in building and structural construction. Profiles are steel products that have been rolled, drawn, or pressed into shapes with a constant cross-section over their entire length. Profiles can also be produced in aluminum or stainless steel.

Pipes are long, hollow tubes, either welded or seamless, and can be produced in various shapes such as round, square, or rectangular, or with specific specifications such as a galvanized coating.

Our flat products include slabs, a rectangular semi-finished product used as the starting material for the production of flat materials, and heavy plates, which are thick rolled plates. Hot rolled steel is produced by roll-pressing steel at a high temperature, while cold-rolled steel is further processed at a lower temperature for improved dimensional tolerance and surface quality.

Coated products are cold-rolled steel products coated with a protective layer of zinc aluminum, paint, or a combination of both. ETP+TFS is cold-rolled steel that is coated with a thin layer of tin or chromium and used in the production of food cans, crown caps, aerosols, and general line applications.

Tomsons also offer aluminum products, including ingots, coils, and sheets with a lower density, making it lightweight and highly resistant to corrosion. We also provide stainless steel, which contains at least 10.5% chromium and less than 1.2% carbon, making it highly resistant to corrosion.
