Key Responsibilities:

• Analyzing market trends, pricing, and logistics to make informed trading decisions
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders in the chemical industry
• Negotiating and executing contracts for the purchase and sale of chemicals
• Monitoring and managing risk exposure, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk
• Communicating effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure successful trade execution and delivery of products
• Continuously updating knowledge of the chemical industry and related markets to identify new business opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Business, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in trading chemicals, with a strong understanding of the industry and related markets
• Proven track record of success in trading chemicals, including demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, negotiate contracts, and manage risk exposure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
